The Thoracic Outlet is an area on each side of the neck where a bundle of nerves known as the Brachial Plexus passes between the Anterior and Middle Scalene Muscles before continuing down the arm. Tension in the Scalenes can entrap these nerves, causing Pain, Numbness, and Weakness down the arm. While Strains and Imbalances in any of the Muscles of the Neck, Shoulders, Chest, and Back can lead to tension in the Scalenes. |

Studies have shown that NeuroMuscular Therapy has Significant Symptomatic Improvement for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, with Increased Mobility in Neck and Shoulders. By Releasing the Active Trigger Points in the Scalene Muscles, and Locating/Releasing other Primary, Secondary, Satellite, and/or Latent Trigger Points in the Muscles of the Neck, Shoulders, Chest, and Back, NeuroMuscular Therapy can relieve the Tension Leading to Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.
